Grant County has posted records from September 1994 to present
and is normally current within 5 days. Grant’s “effective date” is
good through the following Monday at 8:00 a.m. We have the
following instruments posted into our title plant: All general
records filed with the Grant County Clerk's office, including all
Deeds, Mortgages, Release of Deeds, Assignments, Agreements,
Easements, Surveys, Liens and Judgments. Although we post many
documents we do not post: Title Searches, Title Policies, Sealed
Court Records, Or Military Records and Discharges.
All names have been posted as last name, then an asterisk (*)
then a comma then space then the first name then an asterisk (*).
For example: "SMITH*, GENE*". Under Options check “Use
Legacy Search”. All company names are posted as is. "FIRST
NATIONAL BANK". You need to also include an asterisk (*) at the end
of a Company Name ie..“First National*, to include any
various spellings of the business name.
